Can’t Win You Back, My Lost Love

Synopsis

The amnesiac man I found washed up on the beach turned out to be the heir to one of the most powerful families in high society.

When I took him in, he had no name, no past—only the sea in his eyes and a quiet gentleness that made me believe fate had brought him to me. I gave him a home. I gave him my heart. I even gave birth to a daughter for him.

Then he regained his memory.

On the day he left to return to his world of wealth and power, our little girl ran after him along the shoreline, calling for her father. The waves swallowed her before I could reach her.

I wanted to take my daughter’s ashes and disappear from his life forever. But when grief drove me to leave, he locked me away instead, his composure shattered.

“I have to enter a political marriage with another family,” he said coldly. “What can you possibly offer me? Our daughter’s death was an accident. We can have more children.”

More children.

As if she had been replaceable.

After that, I stopped arguing. I stopped crying. I stopped loving him.

On the day my husband hosted his grand engagement banquet, I boarded a cruise ship thousands of miles away.

And that was the day I died.

Fishel, from now on, I will no longer stand in your way.
