My Final Business Deal with My Husband: Our Divorce

Synopsis

After five years of a marriage hidden from the public eye, Claire Summers finally faces the truth she has tried to ignore: Cameron Hayes never married her for love. On what should have been their fifth wedding anniversary, Claire makes a shocking decision. Instead of planning a celebration, she asks her friend Hailey to prepare divorce papers. She wants nothing in return—no house, no savings, no spousal support. She intends to walk away with empty hands and no regrets.

Hailey is stunned by Claire’s calm determination. How can she throw away five years as if they mean nothing? But Claire’s mind is made up. To her, the marriage was a mistake from the very beginning, and she refuses to keep living in a relationship built on false foundations.

Hailey eventually hands her a divorce agreement drafted by Attorney Parker, who is out of the office. All that remains is Cameron’s signature. However, there’s a complication: Claire must review the terms of her prenuptial agreement, and by law, a mandatory one-month waiting period stands between her and freedom.

For Claire, the real challenge is no longer about losing material wealth—it’s about finding the courage to finally let go.
